Counseling for Addiction

Regain control of your life.

You don’t have to fight this alone.

The path to sobriety is rarely straight forward.

Addiction and substance abuse can have devastating effects on individuals and families. A person can have a strong desire to stop but feel compelled to continue their use because of this disease. Relationships can be severely impacted, jobs can be lost, and many who suffer from addiction end up in poor physical and mental health.

Many people focus purely on their addiction without recognizing the influence that trauma, depression, and anxiety have on their use or dependence. As a client, you and I will focus on developing an awareness of the underlying issues that lead you to this point. We will develop a comprehensive relapse prevention plan and learn practical strategies to use during cravings or vulnerable moments.

Addiction comes in many forms.

Not all addictions are to substances. I have extensive experience working with a variety of addictions.
